I live in Nowa Sól, a medium-sized town in the Lubuskie province in Poland. My adventure with photography began after graduating from elementary school. When I started walking my dog in the nearby woods, I thought it would be a good idea to take sometime a photo. So I did. I borrowed a camera from a friend, it was Zenit 11E. My friend’s lecture about photography included an instruction how to load a film, and the proper exposure. I learned the rest myself. It was in 1997 or 1998.
Since then, photography has bean always somewhere near, and I will always be atracted to the forest.
Nature and its beauty is almost the only subject of my photos. Landscape and small details contained in it are particulary dear to me. Hours, days and years spent wandering in the forests, fields and rivers banks, almost always with a camera in my hand, are what fills my memory, as well as what fills my future.
